Sailescapes Phuket Yacht Charter main base is situated on the sheltered Eastern side of the Island. Sailescapes Phuket Yacht Charters operate out of the 4 marinas on the Island namely, Royal Phuket Marina, Boat Lagoon, Ao Po Marina and Yacht Haven Marina. Many of our yachts also operate out of Chalong Bay for ease of access to the many Islands to the South East and South.
Phuket Island is the main tourist area with many bustling sea side towns and large beaches that cover most of the shore line. Phuket is a cosmopolitan Island which caters for most tastes and budgets, from the party town of Patong on the West coast to near empty beaches in the North and East, Phuket has International shopping Malls as well as the more traditional Thai outlets.
Phuket also has a myriad of attractions and activities such as shows like Simon Cabaret and Phuket Fantasea through to activities such as Zip Lining, Jungle tours, Elephant and Gibbon sanctuaries, sailing, diving, Phuket has it all.
The sailing is equally spectacular, from large Islands such as Koh Yao Yai to the numerous small almost deserted bays on islands and Islets that extend down to Malaysia to the South, Phi Phi Islands and the Hong Islands to the East to the stunning limestone pinnacles of Phang Nga Bay, the home of the famous James Bond Island. All are easily available to cruise in the shallow tranquil waters that surround the Island.
Phuket is served by Phuket International Airport at the North of the Island which has recently been refurbished with 2 new terminals able to handle 12 million passenger a year, many airlines now offer flights direct to Phuket from all over the globe.
