Awatea Swanson 36 is a performance yacht more than capable in racing classes, however with the advent of cruising classes in regattas she is the perfect fit for this class in regatta racing. In line with Sailescapes Davinci Yacht Charters policy of only listing yachts that have won Regattas before we feel she has a rightful place in the racing yacht section.
Available for cruising class, modern classic and even IRC 3 the two time winner of Phuket Race Week in the cruising class, Awatea has a surprising turn of speed, very easy to operate for a crew of 5 - 6, she is the perfect yacht for regatta racers who want to compete in racing without the expense and traumas of IRC class racing.
Awatea was completely re-serviced and re-painted in 2013 she is now in A1 condition. Very competitively priced, Awatea is available for Kings Cup, The Bay Regatta, Phuket Race Week, Raja Muda and Langkawi Regattas. Awatea would be ideal for those relatively new to regatta racing but also experienced racers who still want to race competitively but with a little more space to breathe on the upwind/downwind legs.
